Here, inspectors can schedule appointments, update statuses, and communicate with the subjects of the inspections, commonly known as "merchants."
2. Mobile Site Inspection: This feature is the core functionality of The Metro App. It enables inspectors to initiate inspections, follow a structured process specified by the client, and receive step-by-step guidance. Inspectors are prompted to answer relevant questions and capture necessary photographs during the inspection. The innovative system instantly uploads responses and images to Metro Inspections' servers in real-time. Noteworthy functionalities include options like "back," "forward," "skip," and "review." The "back" button permits inspectors to revisit previous questions for correction or updates based on new information discovered during the inspection. On the other hand, "forward" helps them resume from where they left off after using the "back" function. The "skip" feature allows for postponing questions or photo capture until later stages of the inspection. In cases where answering a question or providing a photo is infeasible, inspectors can select the N/A option. Once all necessary data is input, inspectors can review their responses and image quality on a dedicated page before submission. A unique electronic signature feature allows inspectors and on-site contacts to sign off using a finger on the device screen. After completion, the data is entered into an editable form for subsequent quality review processes.
